Tracker mortgage holders - time to change to fixed rates

Tracker mortgage holders, who typically have in the region of 15 to 20 years left on their mortgage, need to give serious consideration to moving off the tracker, to a long term fixed rate mortgage.

Unfortunately many tracker mortgage holders paid dearly for their houses before the financial crash, but at least they had some comfort in being on low mortgage rates.

This low interest rate environment is over and we are heading into an era of higher mortgage rates where we expect borrowing costs to consumers for mortgages to be in the region of 4% plus.
