New Insurance protection against Redundancty scheme launched

Commenting on the New Redundancy Protection product ,Ms Diane Sweeney of Mortgages.ie stated;
"Unfortunately in today's climate redundancy is a real fear for many mortgage holders.This product will cover up to one years mortgage payments in any one claim and a total of two years over the life of the policy.Whilst anybody losing their job would hope to find replacement work soon enough thereafter,the fact remains that umemployment in Ireland may rise to 7% by the end of next year.The product also covers mortgage repayments in the the event of accident or illness"
