Haven Mortgages (AIB Group) reduce their three and five year fixed rates

For quite some time we have felt that AIB Group through (Haven Mortgages) needed to offer low cost medium term fixed rates.
We especially like their 5 year fixed rate of 2.55% which is only marginally dearer than KBC's rate of 2.5%.
A feature of the recent rate reductions by both KBC and Haven was that they left their 10 year fixed rates unchanged. Surprisingly, 10 year fixed rates are not that popular in Ireland.
We are of the view that you could do a lot worse than fixing some of your mortgage for 10 years when rates are hovering around 3%!.
