21/12/2006 Prime time uncovers sharp practices!
A recent prime time investigation discovered some worrying practices in the estate agency business and indeed in the relationship between certain mortgage brokers and estate agents.Here at mortgages.ie we never have, nor will ever have any relationship with estate agents as we would consider such a relationship to have the potential to create conflict of interest. We were amazed when viewing the prime time programme to see a situation where a mortgage broker(simplymortgages) actually passed over details of client approval levels to an estate agent. A number of leaeding brokers have close relationships with estate agents including Irish mortgage corporation,Gmc mortgages,Sherry fitzgerald mortgages and as above simplymortgages. Here at mortgages.ie we never have nor ever will have a referral relationship with an estate agent.
