Primetime 11/12/06 uncovered a number of very disturbing practices in the real estate area.Many of us have had concerns about sharp practice in this area but the documentary uncovered undeniable evidence of information abuse in regard to house bidding.SimplyMortgages a large mortgage intermediary was also shown to have provided an estate agent with details of loan approval levels in respect of clients which is also worrying . A number of large mortgage interediaries have very close relationships with the real estate business. Here at Mortgage Company of Ireland we never have or ever will have any relationship with the real estate business( other than seeking valuations for clients as required by lenders) and thus will continue as always to act in the intersts of our clients without conflict.
