First active raised their 2,3 and 5 year fixed rates to approx 5.5%.This is a sharp rise compated to rates on offer earlier this year.We expect other lenders to move ina similar fashion.If you have an opportunity to fix for 5 years at close 5% we suggest you pursue it now.
