Anglo Irish Bank to be Nationalised

News just in is that Anglo Irish will be nationalised.The Government was due to inject 1.5 billion in capital into the Bank but this was route was obviously viewed as being insufficient in the current environment.
It is a sad day for Ireland and Irish Banking that the government has had to take this step.Whether the Bank is wound down over time or is developed as a joint business and consumer bank with a view to disposal in better times remains to be seen.
