Shane Lavin B.Comm FCA

Shane is the Managing Director of the Company. Shane studied commerce in UCD before joining KPMG and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. Shane worked at a senior level in financial services and banking prior to setting up Finance Company of Ireland Ltd and launching Mortgages.ie and Lifeinsurance.ie.

 

Mark Banahan B.Comm QFA

Mark is our Mortgage manager and has been with the business for over ten years. Mark is an expert mortgage adviser, advising clients when buying for the first, moving home or switching to a better value provider. Before joining Mortgages.ie Mark ran his own housing accessories business. As a qualified financial adviser, Mark also works with clients in the area of protection and financial planning.

 

Caroline Whelan

Caroline has been over 20 years' experience with the Company. Caroline is our mortgage administration manager and the key person in our administration system. She is responsible for ensuring applications run smoothly through the system to closure and ensuring that clients are kept up to date on process.

 

Alyson Lavin O'Hanlon BA, APA Life and Mortgages

Alyson Lavin joined the business 6 years ago. Alyson is Life Insurance specialist and advises in a range of areas including Mortgage Protection Insurance, Serious illness cover, Income protection and Business protection.

 

Lucia Login APA Life and Mortgages

Lucia joined our company 4 years ago and specialises in compliance and mortgage administration. Lucia had many years of experience in personal and corporate banking in Europe before joining our Company. Lucia is also a qualified mortgage and Life Insurance adviser.

 

Stephen Lavin (BA Marketing)

Stephen joined the business in 2019 and is a qualified mortgage and life insurance advisor. Stephen also heads up our marketing and customer service activities.
