Unfortunately self employed individuals have often found it harder to arrange mortgages than those in Paye Employment.

In paractice if you can clearly demonstrate your ability to service a mortgage and you have a good savings record you are well on the road to qualifying.

In assessing a self employed application we look at a number of areas:

  • How long are you trading?
  • Profitability
  • Savings
  • Current account management
  • Buisness prospects

There is a little more work involved but if you run a good business there is no reason to expect that you will not qualify.
