Self Employed? No need to provide accounts
17 September 2008
Unfortunately self employed individuals have often found it harder to arrange mortgages than those in Paye Employment.
In paractice if you can clearly demonstrate your ability to service a mortgage and you have a good savings record you are well on the road to qualifying.
In assessing a self employed application we look at a number of areas:
- How long are you trading?
- Profitability
- Savings
- Current account management
- Buisness prospects
There is a little more work involved but if you run a good business there is no reason to expect that you will not qualify.
