• A steady supply of quality housing in areas where it is needed and clear information as to the timing of the supply
• A well functioning banking system with adequate price competion in the lending market
• A fair deal for existing home owners through the provision of reasonable variable rate mortgages and access to fixed rate products
• Non interference in the natural order of the property market through false supports
• Srong promotion of caps on income levels used to support a mortgage
• Clear accurate and reliable information on house prices.
