Statistics from Lifeinsurance.ie outline yet another "side effect" of smoking.

We have seen that 50% of smokers die from smoking related diseases, but smokers also pay double the premium of non smokers when it comes to life insurance.

If you are a smoker and have or intend taking out life insurance please remember that more money will be wasted on increased premiums.

The good news is that if you have not smoked for a year you will be entitled to non smoker rates.
